1955
Dr. Frederick A. Slack Jr., a visionary in prosthetic dentistry and a pioneer of plastic teeth technology, founded AMCO as a dental products manufacturer.
1957
A small lab accident changed everything — Dr. Slack repaired his own nail with dental acrylic, sparking the creation of the world’s first nail form and launching a new era in nail care.
1960
AMCO’s work in dental products laid the foundation for today’s professional nail enhancements.
1970
Harnessing our expertise in dental chemistry, AMCO introduced acrylic and UV gel systems, becoming the go-to manufacturer for the industry’s first branded nail companies.
1981
